The book WHIRLWIND (written by Alison Hart) was about a 13 year old girl named Jas/Jasmine Schuler. She had a horse named Whirlwind that had “died.” But when she found out that the horse she thought was Whirlwind was a horse named Star, she began her search for the beautiful chestnut that she loved. The cause of Star’s death was that someone had put a yew plant in the stall. The farm that she worked at was High Meadows farm (HMF). The owner Hugh Robicheaux ended up putting the yew plant in the stall.
I think that this book would be a GREAT movie!!!! I would be the #1 fan of it. I would love the suspense in the soon to be movie! I loved the climax of the story when she found where Whirlwind really was. I highly recommend this book to people who are interested in equine mysteries.

I'm glad you enjoyed it Autobot. I can't wait to read your review of SHADOW HORSE.
Thanks Autobot for the nice review! Maybe you can star in the movie (doing a gymnastic's stunt, too.) I hope you get to read Shadow Horse!
Look's like this book needs to come grandma's direction (hint, hint).
Great report...onward to the next book.
